Do You Become the Captain on Disney Waterways?

Sitting here in NY on this winter day my thoughts bring me to warm sunny Disney Days. One thought stands out… an afternoon we spent cruising the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. We rented Sea Raycers and later on a 21′ Sun Tracker Pontoon; what a wonderful opportunity to view Magic Kingdom from this perspective. We sat idle in awe of the beauty of Cinderella Castle, we watched the monorail glide to and from the Magic Kingdom while the Ferries cruised by us. It was so peaceful to only hear the waves knock against the sides of the boat and feel the sun upon our face looking  onto such magnificence. These wonderful memories are what help me through these long NY winters…..

Thanks! I tell you sometimes (when traveling with Children) Disney quiet time is a must. It was so serene to be out there and not hear anything except the Ferry Boats sound their horn and the sound of our own boat engine. I also loved viewing all those sights from a different angle… did you see the photo of River Country?

Yes, I have a similar shot, but taken from one of the water taxis. It’s pretty run down now, eh? A while ago, someone snuck on the island and took video of the decay. I don’t know if it’s still up on YouTube or not.

I did see that! :)) I don’t think I would have the guts to do that.. But I really enjoyed watching the video.. I can’t believe they have let that land waste away like that 😕
