The Grand Floridian has an amazing array of hand crafted chocolate eggs on display right in their main lobby. This is their 3rd Annual Easter Egg Display, but Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek and his team have been making these unique chocolate creations for 18 years and displaying them in the Grand Floridian’s restaurants.
These eggs can stand 16 to 20 inches tall and weigh between 9 to12 pounds. They are decorated with all edible ingredients. “There are 18 eggs in all this year, and each takes 18 to 20 hours to create, says Chef Erich.”
Look for your favorite princess creation, The Little Mermaid, Elsa, Pocahontas, Aurora and Cinderella. You can see this display until April 22nd.
